The rules record begins with the inaugural Awards.
When an Awards cycle closes, the rules that governed it remain retrievable exactly as they stood. Each published rulebook will carry its Awards year, version, effective date, publication date, document identifier, change summary and, where applicable, the date on which it was superseded.

The first entry in this record will be the rulebook governing the inaugural Film & Stage Awards, published before any entry, consideration or voting process begins.
Amendments
Where a rule is amended during an Awards cycle, the original text, the amendment date, the amended text, the reason for the change and the affected Awards year are all preserved and published. No amendment has been made.
Formal corrections
Factual corrections are recorded additively and never rewrite a substantive Awards outcome. No correction has been recorded.
