Participant Support

Plain status language, structured correspondence and a process that can be used by everyone.

Status language

You should never have to guess where a record stands.

A saved draft is not a submission. It is not received, not reviewed, not counted and carries no standing of any kind until it is submitted through the process the Rules establish.

Reviewer notes, internal assessments and deliberation are never shown to a participant. A participant sees the status, the request and, where a decision is made, the reason given in the decision itself.

Correspondence, accessibility and time.

Structured requests

Participant contact is structured case correspondence tied to a specific record and a specific request, not an open messaging channel. Each message states what is needed and, where a response is required, exactly what may be supplied in reply.

Accessibility

Any future process must be operable by keyboard alone, usable with a screen reader, built from properly labelled fields with clear instructions, and must present errors as a summary that moves focus to the field concerned. Progress is saved so that a session can be resumed, uploads are announced and reversible, and a route exists to request a reasonable adjustment.

Reasonable adjustments

A named route for reasonable adjustment requests will be published with the process. No contact channel has been established yet, and none is stated here.

Deadlines

When a deadline exists it will be published as a date, a time and a named timezone together. No deadline has been set, and no date on this website should be read as one.

Least privilege

Who could see a record, and what they could do.

A reviewer sees only the records assigned to them and only the evidence those records require. Website content administration confers no access to participant records, and platform administration confers no authority over an eligibility decision.

These are functions, not people. No reviewer has been appointed, no record exists to review, and holding one function never carries the entitlements of another.

Conflicts and recusal

A reviewer who has, or may be perceived to have, an interest in a record declares it and withdraws from that record. Declaration, recusal and reassignment are recorded under the governance framework rather than settled informally.

Audit trail

Submission, withdrawal, upload, deletion, download, assignment, request, decision, status change, referral and declared conflict are each recorded internally with actor function and time. Audit records are administrative and are never published.
